The Historic center of the Mexico city is an area that used to be the heart of the Aztec city between the 14th and 16th century.

First, we will visit the archaeological site of the Major Temple, where we will admire the remains of the biggest Aztec pyramid. We will explain you the way in which the Aztec built their city in the middle of a Lake area through a floating terraces or chinampas system, 

how the city evolved and its transformation with the arrival of the Spaniards.

We will also visit the site museum, where you will admire some of the most important pieces of Aztec art discovered in the area during he archaeological excavations.

From there we will head to the archaeological site of Tlatelolco, where we will see the remains of a second Aztec Temple on top of which was built one of the first Catholic churches after the Spanish conquest.

Tlatelolco is located in the so-called 3 cultures square, as in this area the pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern Mexico are melt.
